Hi there, I’m Asha and it’s a privilege to be the MSCV president for 2026. I am a final year student at Monash University and moved to Melbourne from Tasmania to complete my studies!
I am passionate about making sure all people get access to healthcare and education and would like to bring this into my work at MSCV. Outside of university I love to try new food places and go for walks 😊

Hi everyone! I’m Chen, and I’m really excited to be serving as MSCV Vice President this year after previously working as the Internships Officer.

Harrison Cook
Internships Officer
Hi everyone! I’m Harrison Cook, a fifth-year medical student at Monash University and the MSCV Internship Officer for 2026. I’m excited to advocate on your behalf for matters related to the internship match.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy going to the gym, hiking, cooking new recipes, and spending time with my dog.

Xavier Dooley
Treasurer and Sponsorship Officer
I am passionate about advocacy and reducing inequity, having founded a not-for-profit supporting unpaid carers and, now, also serving as the 2026 MSCV Treasurer & Sponsorship Officer.
I am particularly excited to support the final-year graduates' transition to clinical practice and to amplify the voices of all Victorian medical students.

Hi everyone! I'm Jocelyn, a final year student from Monash University and I'm looking forward to be your Events officer for MSCV.
I'm excited to be organising information webinars, in-person sessions, and outreach events for all medical students - junior and seniors alike. Other than that, catch me bouldering, running, crocheting, and having biscoff froyo and YOMG!

Aakriti Malhotra
Events Officer
Hey! I'm Aakriti, 3rd year Medical student at Monash University.
I'm passionate about making a difference for medical students and making sure we feel supported in our med school journey. I've done a lot of work in the mental health and social equity scene, and I'm excited to bring this into MSCV for 2026.
Outside of Medicine, I play netball, dance and love getting outside for some sunshine!

Victorian University Representatives
Structure of Council
MSCV represents all Victorian Medical Students through the election of Directors and Council Officers.
Election of the Directors occurs in September to preside for the following year. Council Officers are elected by the Council in early February of the sitting year.
Council consists of the President, AMSA Representative and MSCV representative from the respective medical societies of the Victorian Medical Schools (Deakin, Melbourne, Monash and Notre Dame).
