2016 MSCV Intern Application Survey Results

MSCV is pleased to present the findings of our inaugural Intern Application Survey. This year following the Victorian intern application period, MSCV sought feedback from applicants on the match and its associated application process. The survey collected responses to a wide variety of topics, and has given insight to several issues faced by applicants during the match.

The results of this survey have formed the basis for a number of recommendations for improvements to the application system. These encompass both centralised, and hospital-network controlled parts of the process. This report will help guide MSCV’s advocacy in this area; allowing us to work to ensure a fairer, simpler, and more accessible application process in the future.

MSCV has already met with key stakeholders regarding the report, and is pleased to update that some of our suggested changes are already being investigated for the 2017/18 Match.

Please find the full report here.
